The finale of last season’s Law and Order: SVU was nothing short of terrifying. Three masked men broke into a Syrian family’s restaurant, stole the money, trashed the restaurant, killed the father, raped both of his adult daughters, then killed one of those daughters. Along the way, the criminals spray-painted “Muslims must die” on the refrigerators. As the two hour episode continued to develop, a gay Muslim man who was an illegal immigrant was arrested by ICE agents and deported, a Latino man was shot dead by a white supremacist, and a mosque was firebombed and five worshipers were murdered. Public protests demanding justice for the Syrian family were deafeningly vocal.

I hope you are all enjoying the summer!

Please take a few minutes to help get us started on another wonderful year in the HT Hebrew School.

Please read the Tuition Rates and Policies and the Hebrew School Information. Then please complete and return the Student Info form and the Medical Authorization form along with your tuition deposit. Please be sure to have someone witness your signature on the Medical Authorization Form.

If any of your email addresses I have for you need to be updated, please let me know and feel free to email me with any questions.

If you know of any other families who are looking for a fun, valuable Hebrew School education experience for their children, please share my email address.

Meet at Ft Wash entrance to HT at 8:30. Leaving at 8:40 for A train.
10- 11 AM guided tour- “The Irish Outsiders”.
Visit to gift shop and local restaurant for traditional food.
Return to HT at about 2 PM – $13 for students, $15 for Adults/Chaperones
