Sukkot & Simchat Torah Information

It’s back! Hebrew Tabernacle will be constructing our Sukkah this year. After two plus years of not having a Sukkah the annual Hebrew Tabernacle Sukkah is back.
Come celebrate with us this Sunday 10/9 all day and a Tot Shabbat event next Friday 10/14
Sunday October 9
10am: Construction of the sukkah Adult volunteers, we need you! come on out and help and put those pandemic gained home renovation skills to use.
12:30pm: Decoration of the sanctuary with greens Adults and children are invited to fill our space with symbols of the harvest!
4:00pm: SukkahPalooza Everyone is invited to join us in the social hall to shake the Lulav and Etrog, make and hang decorations for the Sukkah, and eat pizza!
6:30pm: Sukkot Service Please join us for a family friendly service with Cantor Wolff
Friday October 14
5:30pm: Tot Shabbat All are invited to sing and play in the sukkah with Rabbi Paula and Miriam the Puppet! (Best for ages 0-5)
Simchat Torah information
Celebrate Simchat Torah! Monday 10/17
Simchat Torah Service starts at 6pm in the Sanctuary – this service is being held jointly with Beth Am and their Cantor Sandy Horowitz.
We are all meeting up with The Beis and Fort Tryon Jewish Center at around 7:20 to dance with the Torahs on 185th St.!
